Reviews from happy clients

I have been using Avalon Property Management for my summer home in Sea Isle City for nearly five years and Jake and his team have been absolutely outstanding. They perform regular checks throughout the off-season including late fall, winter, and early spring to make sure everything is safe and in working order while I'm not there. That alone is worth its weight in gold. This past winter really put them to the test. During one of the coldest stretches we have seen in years, Jake discovered that a main water pipe had cracked due to freezing temperatures. He and his crew immediately jumped into action, located the main water source, shut it off at the street level, and made the necessary repairs to get everything back up and running. The speed and efficiency with which they handled the situation was remarkable, and the cost was incredibly reasonable given how much damage could have occurred had it gone unnoticed. Jake essentially saved me from what could have been a catastrophic and expensive situation. Beyond the big stuff, Jake is also incredibly responsive for smaller tasks. When I had power washers scheduled but couldn't get down to the house to turn on the hose bibbs from the Pex panel, I shot Jake a text with only a few hours notice and he took care of it without hesitation. To say I highly recommend Jake and Avalon Property Management is a massive understatement. After five years, knowing my home is in good hands gives me complete peace of mind and that is absolutely priceless.

Jake and his team replaced my wooden deck with Wolf composite decking. They did a great job. The cleanup of my property after the job completion was excellent. Jake is very responsive to emails and texts. He is easy to contact if needed.

Jake from Avalon Construction and Property Management did a beautiful job on my lower deck after it was destroyed in an excessive high tide. It was done quickly and at a good price. Would use their services in the future!

Jake and his team did an excellent job replacing our deck. The workmanship and attention to detail really stood out, especially with the picture frame decking and clean finish work. Communication was clear throughout the entire project, and everything was completed on schedule. Highly recommend Avalon Construction Management for any exterior work.

The slate walkway to my shed had sunk and I needed a ramp built from the shed to the walkway. Jake’s team did an excellent job raising and stabilizing the walkway and built a ramp for me from the shed so it’s much easier to wheel things in/out. I’m very pleased with their work and would definitely call upon them again if needed.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work Jake and his team at Avalon Property Management did on our beach house! From start to finish, Jake made what could have been a stressful renovation feel seamless and exciting. He and his crew renovated both bathrooms beautifully, replaced all the flooring throughout the house, installed recessed lighting in every bedroom, and gave the entire interior a fresh, flawless coat of paint. Every detail was handled with care and precision, and the results far exceeded our expectations. What really set Jake apart was his outstanding communication. He was always easy to reach, quick to respond, and consistently kept us updated on progress. He took initiative, offered thoughtful suggestions, and was completely honest and transparent every step of the way. Above all, he was an absolute pleasure to work with—professional, reliable, and genuinely invested in making sure we loved the final outcome. Jake and his team does great work. Timely, considerate, and very thorough. We have worked w them for several years and have always been very happy with their work.

We hired Jake to switch out a kitchen faucet and to change fluorescent light bulbs in the garage. Due to the age of the fixtures in the garage and the plumbing below the sink, both projects took much longer and required much more time and labor. Jake and Eric, took the time to deal with both issues and resolved them perfectly. We could not be happier or more satisfied with Jake, Eric and their exemplary workmanship. Look very forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

Jake was a huge help when it came to finding out information. He was very personable and helpful with the surprise remodel of my bathroom for my wife. If I could give him 10 stars, I would! I will be using him for all of my construction needs for a very long time!

Avalon Property Management are just the best! Working with Jake Simons was a true blessing since I'm a virtual assistant living in Venezuela, he kept me updated with every single step they made along the project. My boss is really happy with the results. Thanks Jake!!

Jake’s team is top notch - they were very responsive to me and had folks working at my house to fix a storm problem almost immediately. So easy to do business with and kept me in the loop with what was going on with the work. In addition, they found a problem I wasn’t aware f on my roof and made the adjustments in their schedule to take care of it before a storm which was only days away. I couldn’t thank them enough and would gladly use them for ANY home needs I have. The repair work was outstanding and the guys working the job were respectful and friendly.
